The REVITAL Surgical Face Mask is a single use mask. It is rectangular and made from three layers. Each layer is made up of non-woven, spun bound, polypropylene material. Commonly, 3 pleats are used allowing the user to expand the mask so it covers the area from the nose to the chin. This mask is hypoallergenic and without glass fibers. It also has an adaptable nose bar to enhance fit, thus ensuring that it is fitted closely over the nose, mouth and chin of the wearer. The attached 2 x 2 elasticized ear loops allow correct fixation and securing to the conformity of the face of the user.

Face masks are intended to be used in order to help prevent large particles expelled by the wearer (e.g. spit, mucous) from reaching the patient or work environment. Masks protect wearers from being splashed in the mouth with body fluids.
